Hi i had a good then bad day i went to school then i can home did my home work and then i went out side with my little brother and we mist have gone down the slide at least 1,000 times it was sooo much fun then we had to come in side because my alergees were killing me!!! but now im on here writing about my day!!

Judy's Post!!!!!

Judy has been wanting to post for the past several days.....we decided together that it would be better for her to get her point across by putting up a video and I would work on it with her and help her with what she was trying to say.  Well I have been having a diffcult time getting it to post......however, tonight it seems to have worked.  The video idea started by, Judy asking me....." Mom how do we get the word out about us granting wishes and needing donations?" My response to her was I don't know honey, Mommy is doing the best that she can.  Judy then asked again if she can help.  She said that she wanted to paint pictures(from her coloring book) and sell them.  Of course not wanting to be negative, I told her that was a wonderful idea!!!!  However, thinking to myself.....I don't think that would work...but I also didn't want to disappoint her.  So I said that I thought maybe we could just put up a post and ask for help.....Judy then pointed at me and said....that's a good idea.  So that is how the video came about!!!!  Oddly enough, however, when she came home she asked how much she had raised!!!!! I then explained that I wasn't able to get the video up but would try another day....she hung her head and said o.k.  So tonight I decided to try again and it is now up!!!!!  So this post is from Judy!!!!  She really wants to be a part of the fundraising.....so with that please turn off the music and listen to what Judy says......Thanks!!!!!

My feelings!!

  Hi my name is Meaghan Esposito and I am 12 years old and have a little brother with something special, people call it Down syndrome but I just call it special! There is something called Gifts from the Hearts for Downs, and its where we grant wishes for kids with Down syndrome! I have been lucky enough to meet some kids that have Downs and let me tell u they are the sweetest people in the world! (and let me just add in there that the things we think are easy for us are the things they struggle with) I would love to see every Downs kid get there wish!!! So if u could help me donate money so that every one of  these "special" kids can have a smile on there face with the wish they wanted!!! Thank you so very much!

They sat together all day saying HI<HI<HI< to each other I loved watching them interact!!!

It is an honor!!!!!!

I had the honor of meeting three of the most wonderful girls, who all have something so special in common!!!! They all have a sibling with Down Syndrome.  These remarkable girls....so love their siblings and it is an honor to have been able to work with them this past week!!!!!  All the girls, who are interested in helping.....ALL of them had the opportunity to participate in a wish granting experience, when Abby, received her iPad.  Abby's sisters knew just how much that meant to Abby, to be able to help her to communicate.  You could see the excitement in their faces as Abby received her wish.  Meag on the other hand, also knows first hand how just the simplest things that she can do is a dailey struggle for her brother.......all three of these girls have young siblings who have Down Syndrome, but also had the opportunity to interact with my children who were just a bit older then themselves.  It gave the girls a look at their future with there siblings....and they were so excited to be able to be a part of it all.  With that, they said that they wanted to do something that would make a difference in the life of people with Down Syndrome.....seeing what we have already done......and what they know it would mean to their siblings.  So with that the three girls have decided to joins forces to try and help to raise money to grant wishes or a need to people who have Down Syndrome......Jackie, Meag and Savanah...you three girls are very special and it has been an honor to spend time with you  and I look forward to spending a lot more time with you!!!!  YOU ARE MY INSPIRATION!!!!!  and I thank you!!!!!! And with that, I turn this blog over to you all, I am very proud of you all............happy fundraising!!!!!!!
